Job summary

LDN Hire Ltd is seeking a reliable Driver to deliver and collect minibuses across London and surrounding areas, performing pre- and post-journey inspections and providing clear handovers to customers.

You will travel between customer locations and our Chessington and Ashford depots, using public transport when needed, and work mostly independently while upholding high standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 25 or over.
• Full UK manual Category B driving licence for minimum 3 years.
• Experience driving larger vehicles such as vans/minibuses.
• Confident manoeuvring large vehicles in busy London traffic.
• Excellent punctuality, reliability and timekeeping.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect minibuses from customers across London and surrounding areas.
• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections before delivery and after collection, with photos and reports.
• Explain vehicle controls and ensure correct vehicle handed over to customers.
• Travel between customer locations and depots using public transport when required.
• Move vehicles between Chessington and Ashford depots and assist with related tasks.
• Complete vehicle inspection reports accurately and follow SOPs.
