Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant’s assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world. BMW Group, Oxford – Logistics Planning and Project Role (July 2025)
We have a number of placements within Logistics Planning including New Vehicle Structure Planning, Supply Chain Planning and Material Planning.
The New Vehicle Structure Planning role offers opportunity to be part of a team responsible for the planning of Logistical Structures and Material Flow in Assembly and Painted Body across both plants Oxford and Swindon. The position is inside the Logistics Planning function, where you will be supporting the Designing and Implementing of new material flow processes and structure concepts on site in plants Oxford and Swindon.
The Supply Chain Planning role offers opportunity to support the team to achieve their aim to develop, optimise, design and realise the supply processes from the supplier to the fit point in the plant. This includes the return of empties (considering logistic areas, handling, transport, system use and part-specifically material flow planning) and ensuring that the total supply chain is consistent, viable, cost-effective and efficient.
The Material Planning role offers opportunity to be working within the Material Planning department to obtain full process knowledge, customer order and parts supply. The department is responsible for the supply of all production related material into the assembly hall to build a quality vehicle from approximately 350 suppliers world wide. Alongside this we are also responsible for the supply of consumable and maintenance items across the plant.
