A local government authority in North East England is looking for an experienced individual to join their strategic development management team. The role involves managing planning enforcement matters, monitoring compliance with planning permissions, and engaging with stakeholders and the public. Ideal candidates will have relevant educational qualifications or equivalent experience, along with a strong understanding of service planning issues.
We are looking for an experienced individual who has knowledge of service planning issues relating to development management and monitoring / compliance issues including national and local performance framework to join our busy strategic development management team.
You will be responsible for workload arising across the whole of the Planning Development Management Service, playing a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of the statutory process.
