Overview

Our CYPS Mindworks Hub-South is a highly supportive, friendly and innovative team covering South Surrey (Frimley and Guildford). The team focuses on Getting More Help and Risk Support to Children and Young People as part of our i-THRVE framework. You would join a strong multidisciplinary team offering assessments and interventions to children and young people experiencing psychological distress and emotional and mental health difficulties, while providing support to our Partner Agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Mental Health Assessments
  • Risk Assessment and implementation of risk management plans
  • Delivering evidenced-based group interventions
  • Use of outcome measures to evidence good practice
  • Supervise and support student nurses
  • Provide timely mental health assessments and treatment interventions for children and young people
  • Provide support, advice and education to the wider network including the Hub Team
  • Build knowledge and skills of staff within the alliance partnership in the care and treatment of children and young people
  • Work individually and jointly within the Mindworks alliance to provide a specialist assessment and treatment service to children, adolescents and their families
Qualifications

We are seeking professionals who are professionally registered with NMC, HCPC or SWE and have significant experience of working with under 18-year-olds.
