Mind In Bradford is recruiting Crisis Support Workers for the Safe Spaces program. Salary scale: £20,450 - £24,540 per annum. Hours: Various shift patterns available. Base: Kenburgh House, Central Bradford, with occasional travel across the district. Responsible to: Service Manager / Team Leader. Annual Leave: 25 days pro-rata. Pension: Contributory pension scheme with auto-enrollment (conditions apply). Probationary period: 6 months.

Mind in Bradford collaborates with The Cellar Trust to lead the NHS-funded Safe Spaces program, offering support to people in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, or Craven. The service includes one-to-one support, outreach, crisis/wellbeing cafes, overnight accommodation for youth, and in-reach services, providing a non-clinical environment to help individuals in crisis stay safe and access support.
We are seeking Crisis Support Workers and Team Leaders for our Bradford Hub in the city center.
Delivering one-to-one crisis support via phone or face-to-face, providing practical assistance to help clients regain control and work through their feelings. The role can be emotionally demanding and may require travel across the district.
Experienced in supporting people with mental health difficulties, working with vulnerable individuals with multiple risk factors, and able to inspire hope and recovery. Shifts are available 7 days a week, including 19.10-2.30am on specified days.
