Houston & Hawkes is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to lead our Milton Keynes operation, delivering quality food and exceptional service. You will manage day-to-day catering and retail activities, develop the team, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high standards across service, food, and presentation.

The role requires energy, personality and pride in food and service, with Monday–Friday work and a 40k salary.

Formación

• Experience as Cafe Manager or catering manager in quality food-led operations.
• City & Guilds, NVQ or catering training with a food hygiene qualification.
• Strong craft skills with focus on quality, presentation and innovation.
• Financial and commercial awareness including cost control and stock management.
• Confident, organised leader with excellent communication and customer service passion.

Responsabilidades

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day catering and retail operation with high standards.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to create a positive working environment.
• Deliver excellent customer experience through warm, efficient service.
• Bring flair and innovation to menus, food presentation and the overall offer.
• Manage budgets, costs, stock, ordering and operational performance.
• Build strong relationships with client, customers and Houston & Hawkes team.
• Plan and organise operation for smooth service.
• Complete company documentation and reporting on time.
• Maintain utmost standards of food safety, allergens, and hygiene.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and commercial performance.
