Job description
Overview

The role includes, but is not limited to:

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional physical performance support for all registered Lionesses first team squad in line with the physical department's physical syllabus.
  • In association with the Lionesses technical staff, organise the weekly training plans and long-term programmes.
  • Ensure Sports Science & S&C provision including on-pitch athletic development session plans, gym sessions, physical testing and growth & maturation testing are uploaded into the appropriate databases within 24 hours.
  • Ensure testing and monitoring practices are consistently implemented and evaluated to inform practice.
  • Educate technical staff to ensure maintenance of age-appropriate best practice.
  • Program and deliver all gym, rehab, and pitch-based sessions.
  • Contribute to players reviews and audits to assess performance and potential.
  • Monitor growth and maturation and implement appropriate strategies to aid player development and maximise availability.
