Job description

Mill Setter/Operator – Days/Nights (x2 Roles Available)
Location: West Bromwich
Hours: 39 hours per week, rotating 3-week shift pattern (subject to change)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
âž¡ï¸ £15.86/hr with 22% shift allowance
âž¡ï¸ £16.25/hr with 25% shift allowance

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Mill Setters/Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. You’ll be responsible for setting and operating roll forming equipment and ancillary machinery to produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical background who are ready to take ownership of their work and contribute to continuous improvement.

Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)
  • Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 2:00pm | Friday, 6:00am – 1:00pm


  • Week 2: Monday – Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm | Friday, 1:00pm – 8:00pm


  • Week 3: Sunday – Wednesday, 10:00pm – 6:00am | Thursday, 10:00pm – 5:00am


    ✅ Key Responsibilities
    • Set and operate roll forming machines, presses, and other equipment


    • Maintain production rates and quality standards, reporting any issues


    • Complete production and quality records accurately


    • Ensure a clean and safe work area (following 5S standards)


    • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives


    • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times


    • Perform other duties as required by your supervisor
