Job summary

Recruit4staff is representing an established animal feed manufacturing business seeking a Mill Operative in Oswestry. The role involves operating production machinery, assisting with mixing and weighing ingredients in a busy facility, and maintaining hygiene to prevent cross-contamination.

You will work a 4 on 4 off pattern (2 days, 2 nights) from 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am, with on‑the‑job training and clear progression after probation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable undertaking heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
• Experience working shift patterns, including night shifts.
• A positive attitude and strong approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and support mixing and weighing of ingredients.
• Maintain hygiene and prevent cross‑contamination by production awareness.
• Maintain production records and control finished product bins.
