Gregory Distribution Ltd. is seeking a Milk Tanker Driver to join their Evercreech-based operation. You will operate Class 1 milk tankers, deliver to dairy clients, and perform daily safety checks while maintaining high service standards.

The role involves 4on 4off shifts starting early mornings, with enhanced pay for hours worked overnight. Training is provided, and there is a strong team culture with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Milk tanker experience is advantageous, but full training provided for right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh milk to the dairy and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and communicate issues to the transport team.
• Maintain regular contact with the transport team and provide progress updates.
• Participate in training to stay up to date with industry standards and procedures.

Class 1 Transhipment Milk Tanker Driver Location: Evercreech Shift: 4on 4off, Days

About the Role

• Take on the fulfilling task of delivering fresh milk to the dairy, ensuring every delivery is made with care and precision.
• Engage in a variety of driving experiences, from mostly rural routes through scenic countryside to motorway journeys.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, meeting client requirements and maintaining consistently high standards.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and reliability.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with milk tankers would be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Competitive Salary: £17.92 per hour, based on working 10 hours per shift. PLUS for all hours worked between 22:00hrs & 05:59hrs, you will receive an additional £2.25 per hour.
