• Previous experience in a Planning role, ideally in an FMCG environment, or transport planning.
• Good Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job description

Milk Supply Planner , you will be responsible for the management of daily raw milk and co-products balancing with a focus on achieving optimal costs in bulk liquid products transport whilst ensuring the dairies receive the agreed volumes and service levels of bulk liquid imports and exports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage raw milk balances by milk type at daily and weekly levels.
• Provide detailed examination of historical data, investigate and understand anomalies and build into future plans.
• Provide detailed communication with accurate administration of hauliers and suppliers.
• Identify potential issues such as surpluses and deficits of numerous products, identifying resolutions and reacting in a timely manner to address the issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers and customers to support the network in achieving optimal cost saving activities.
• Raise purchase and sales orders for external vendors and action invoice approvals.
