Job summary

Join Müller Group as a Milk Filling Operative Level 3 at Bellshill Dairy to help produce high-quality dairy products. You will work on milk filling lines, monitor quality, and ensure health and safety across shifts.

You’ll operate equipment, maintain hygiene, and contribute to continuous improvement while following SOPs, filling and documentation requirements, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, food processing or FMCG environments.
• Experience operating production machinery and equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety, food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Ability to follow procedures, complete documentation accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience working rotating shift patterns.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate milk filling and processing equipment in line with SOPs and site standards.
• Monitor production to ensure product quality, safety and customer specifications.
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and environmental compliance with clean-as-you-go approach.
• Carry out equipment checks and asset care to maximise performance and minimise downtime.
• Replenish production materials and support smooth filling and processing operations.
• Complete production records, quality documentation and system transactions accurately.
• Conduct laboratory and chemical testing as required and respond to results.
• Support continuous improvement, problem solving and root-cause investigations.
• Assist in training and developing colleagues and promote a positive team culture.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture by identifying risks and following safe practices.

Do you have experience working across shifts in a busy manufacturing, production or food processing environment?

Join our fast-paced Bellshill Dairy as a Milk Filling Operative Level 3 , where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality dairy products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, hygiene and operational excellence.

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Shift: 5/7 days, rotating 5:30am-2pm and 2pm-10:30pm

Title & Location: Milk Filling Operative Level 3 - Bellshill Dairy ML4 3NY

What will you be doing:

As a Milk Filling Operative Level 3, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient production of high-quality dairy products, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

• Operate milk filling and processing equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and site standards.
• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, food safety and compliance with customer specifications and CCP requirements.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and environmental compliance through a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Carry out equipment checks and asset care activities to maximise performance, minimise downtime and reduce waste.
• Replenish production materials and support the smooth running of filling and processing operations.
• Complete production records, quality documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Conduct laboratory and chemical testing where required and respond appropriately to results.
• Support continuous improvement activities, problem solving and root cause investigations to improve operational performance.
• Assist in the training and development of colleagues, sharing best practice and supporting a positive team culture.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture by identifying risks, reporting issues and always following safe working practices.
