Military Training Systems Engineer/Architect {MoD}

Location: Andover, with 1, 2, or 3 days a week onsite.

Salary: up to £76,000 + Car + Private Health + 6-8% Pension + Discounts + Progression + Training.

Are you a Military Training Systems Engineer or similar with a military background looking for an autonomous role where you will design and develop the next generation of training solutions for the Ministry of Defence during our current global crisis?

We offer a unique opportunity for a Military Training Systems Engineer/Architect to join a renowned international UK defence company. Established over 150 years ago, this defence powerhouse has been at the forefront of research, training, development, and innovation for the MoD, contributing to some of the largest training and defence projects worldwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing training and development solutions and systems across various military clients, including the RAF, Navy, Army, and others. The position offers both challenge and reward, allowing you to leverage your skills and work autonomously to meet specific project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a military background with experience in training and development, business acumen, and the ability to implement systems, simulations, or similar solutions to enhance military training programs.

The Role:

• Create technical specifications such as system and user requirements.
• Develop training compliance management plans.
• Provide thought leadership and expertise on training systems and platforms.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Stay current with new platform and training system developments.

The Person:

• Ex-military or similar background.
• MCTS/CAST/CATT or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in implementing training solutions and systems.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Willing to work in Andover 1-3 days a week.
