Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an experienced Scientific Data Analyst Surveillance to support PHCoE and Defense Health Agency. The role analyzes large military healthcare datasets,Develops dashboards and reports for leadership, and supports data-driven decisions across the Military Health System.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 10+ years in healthcare data analytics, with experience in MIP or related systems. Travel may be required; this is a full-time position contingent upon award.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of full-time experience analyzing large administrative healthcare data.
• Experience with MHS Information Platform (MIP) or predecessor systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation and CAC; US Citizenship.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large behavioral health, healthcare and surveillance datasets to identify trends and issues.
• Develop dashboards, data visualizations and executive reports for Government leadership.
• Perform data quality assessments and ensure integrity of analytical products.
• Collaborate with researchers, statisticians, epidemiologists and stakeholders to support surveillance initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation and data summaries for contract deliverables.
