Job summary

CRA Legal, represented by CRA Consulting, is seeking a Military Claims Fee Earner for a permanent, full-time position in Castleford. You will handle a diverse portfolio of military compensation and personal injury claims and manage your own caseload with support from an experienced team.

Experience in military claims is welcome but not essential; training will be provided. The role involves drafting, reviewing records, negotiating settlements, and maintaining client care throughout each claim.

Qualifications

• Experience managing own claimant litigation caseload.
• Strong communication and drafting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Run your own pre-litigated and litigated caseload.
• Assess liability, causation and quantum.
• Draft correspondence, witness statements and schedules of loss.
• Review medical records, service records and supporting expert evidence.
• Negotiate settlements and progress claims to resolution.
• Manage deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear, empathetic client care throughout each claim.
