Randstad Inhouse Services is recruiting a skilled MIG Welder for Caterpillar’s Peterlee site on the night shift. You will weld on build fixtures to tight tolerances using MIG and MMA processes, with NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred.

The role offers a 24-month contract, competitive hourly pay (£27.45) with overtime, and access to site facilities. This opportunity may lead to permanent placement with Caterpillar based on performance.

NIGHTSHIFT MIG Welder - Night Shift

Join Caterpillar's state-of-the-art facility in Peterlee as a skilled MIG Welder on the Backshift

Job Details & Pay Rates

• 36.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) + Overtime
• 24 Month Contract
• New rates from 1st October:
• Location: Peterlee, County Durham
• Night Shift: £27.45 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 00:00 - 08:00 | Friday, 17:00 - 21:30
• Overtime 1.5 Rate (Sat): £30.49 per hour
• Overtime 2.0 Rate (Sundays): £40.66 per hour

• Candidates North of the Tyne Tunnel will be paid Tyne Tunnel fees by the client.
• Excess mileage will be paid for over 40 miles from site at 0.55 per mile.
