Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Trailer Fitter / Welder to join a busy commercial vehicle and body repair operation. This full-time role offers an hourly rate of £14.50–£17.00 DOE and requires hands-on work on trailers and related equipment.

You will fit, repair and modify trailers, perform MIG welding and general fabrication, and contribute to body repairs and modifications using steel and aluminium components.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Trailer Fitter / Welder to join a busy commercial vehicle and body repair operation in Peterborough.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience working on commercial vehicle trailers, bodywork, fabrication and welding.

The Role

You’ll be involved in the fitting, repair and modification of commercial vehicle trailers and associated equipment, carrying out work to a high standard and ensuring vehicles are safe and ready for use.

Duties will include:

• Fitting and repairing commercial vehicle trailers
• MIG welding and general fabrication
• Trailer body repairs and modifications
• Working with steel and aluminium components
• Removing, fitting and replacing damaged components
