Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in the Gosfield area is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a skilled production team. Working from drawings and schedules, you will fabricate and weld key structural components for large kit assemblies, delivering quality and safety.

Based in Gosfield, Essex the role offers full-time permanent employment, a competitive hourly rate (£14–£16) with overtime, production bonuses, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience on steel fabrication.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Safety-minded with knowledge of workshop practices.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components (typically 5mm+).
• Fabricate assemblies and subframes in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately to produce precise welds and assemblies.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily build targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace in good condition.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
