Interaction Recruitment, on behalf of their client, are recruiting an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop in Rochdale. This full-time, permanent role offers an immediate start and long-term career prospects with a reputable manufacturer.

The successful candidate will perform MIG welding and fabrications to engineering drawings, maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Welder/Fabricator experience.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding mild steel from 2mm to 10mm.
• Fabrication of frameworks and sub-assemblies to a high standard.
• Reading and working confidently from engineering drawings.
• General engineering workshop duties.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
