Optima UK Inc Ltd in Market Harborough is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join our skilled team. You will weld and fabricate metal components from engineering drawings, ensuring quality and workmanship across our production standards.

The role requires MIG welding expertise, the ability to read drawings, and a practical, reliable approach. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, with overtime opportunities and free parking.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG welding experience with steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in fabrication and assembly of steel components.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking with practical approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding and fabrication to a high standard.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements and specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble steel components and trailer structures.
• Prepare, cut, shape and position metal components for welding.
• Ensure welds and fabrications meet quality standards.
• Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a production team to meet deadlines.
