Job summary

Spreadpoint is seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their manufacturing team on a permanent, 3-day-per-week basis. Location is to be confirmed. Salary ranges £14–£18 per hour depending on experience.

The role involves MIG welding and fabrication in a modern facility, with a flexible three-day schedule and opportunities to contribute to production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working with mild steel components.
• Good practical and fabrication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabricating mild steel components.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Cutting, fitting and preparing materials and components for welding.
• Producing accurate, high-quality welds.
• Ensuring all fabricated components meet the required specifications.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all relevant Health & Safety procedures.
• Working independently while contributing effectively to the wider production and engineering team.
