Job Description

My client is seeking a skilled MIG Welder/ Fabricator to joint their team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for using power tools and hand tools to assemble and fabricate metal components. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and welding experience to showcase their skills and contribute to our manufacturing process.

Based in Halesfield, in Telford.

Working hours Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday: 07:30 - 13:30

Pay upto £14.30ph

Responsibilities of a Mig Welder/ Fabricator:

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications




• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols




• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as necessary




• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control




• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal




• Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal part




• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements of a Mig Welder/ Fabricator:

• Ability to tig weld but not required (desirable)




• Working on site if required (hours will be slightly different)

• Mig weld 3mm to 40mm mild steel.

• Read drawings for dimensions, material etc.
