Our client in Manchester, IA, is seeking MIG Welders to join their family-oriented team on all shifts .

You will perform a variety of tasks to support the production of top-quality, customized products. These duties require strong attention to detail to properly prepare equipment for the next stage in a high-quality manufacturing process.

Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Manchester, IA

Pay Range:

MIG Welder

1st Shift $23

2nd Shift per hour with a shift premium $2.00 - $4.00

3rd Shift $23 per hour with a shift premium $2.00 - $4.00

What will you be doing?

• Use templates or measurements to position parts and subassemblies

• Examine connections for proper fit and assembly

• Weld parts using hand-held MIG welding equipment

• Remove excess weld, slag, or splatter using hand tools or grinders

• Operate overhead cranes to move parts

• Conduct quality checks with detailed inspection of finished products

What’s needed?

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience

• Proven ability to weld using a hand-held MIG welder

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications, and follow procedures

• Attention to detail and basic understanding of shop math

• High school diploma or GED

• 18 years or older

• Availability to work overtime, including Saturdays
