Job summary

Enbarr Recruitment and Training is seeking production MIG welders for a factory on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. You will weld a variety of steel components from technical drawings, using jigs, and work as part of a production line to meet deadlines.

Experience with MIG welding on mild steel and reading drawings is essential. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 6am–4:15pm with Fridays off; rates start at £15.50 per hour, rising to £16.83 after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reading engineering drawings/diagrams.
• Knowledge of hand, air & power tools.
• Experience with MIG welding to a high standard.

Job description

Our client is a Nationwide company who supports production plants across the Mainland UK and worldwide.

At their Factory based on the Wrexham Industrial estate, they manufacture a range of specialist sheet metal fabrication services to a wide range of industrial sectors.

We are currently looking for production MIG welders to join their growing team in Wrexham welding a variety of steel components using jigs, producing high quality seating systems for both the Commercial and Construction Industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work from technical drawings
• MIG Weld to a high standard
• Some JIG Work - spot welding
• Put frames together and weld up
• Working as part of a team within the production line area and working to timed deadline
• Ability to MIG Weld on mild steel within required tolerances - coded

Previous experience essential

• Knowledge of working from engineering drawings and diagrams
• Knowledge of hand, air & power tools

Holidays - All holidays are to be taken in accordance with production needs and our key customer's shutdown periods.

Welding test required to access experience.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am to 4.15pm (Fridays off)

Rate of pay: £15.50p/h and after 12 weeks increases to £16.83p/h
