Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment is recruiting experienced MIG Welders and Fabricator/Welders for a well-established manufacturing business in the area. The role involves MIG welding on mild steel components, reading engineering drawings for Fabricator/Welder duties, and maintaining high quality workmanship in a busy workshop.

The position offers £18.00 per hour with Monday-Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm, with immediate starts and a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience.
• Ability to produce high-quality welds.
• Fabrication experience beneficial for the Fabricator/Welder position.
• Reliable, hardworking, and looking for a long-term opportunity.

The Role

• Working with material thicknesses of 6mm and 8mm
• Reading and working from engineering drawings (for Fabricator/Welder role)
• Maintaining high quality workmanship and health & safety standards
• Supporting production targets within a busy workshop environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous MIG welding experience
• Ability to produce high-quality welds
