Job Title: MIG Welder (Temporary) – Heavy Duty Fabrication

Salary: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Flexible start times | 10–12 hour shifts

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy fabrication team in Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a temporary position offering competitive hourly pay, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work on heavy-duty welding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding on steel ranging from 1mm to 30mm thickness
  • Fabrication and assembly of steel components using technical drawings
  • Grinding, drilling (including use of magnetic drills), and general metalwork
  • Working with structural and bespoke steel parts
  • Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience in MIG welding (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and engineering drawings
  • Comfortable working with thick gauge and heavy steel
  • Skilled in grinding, drilling, and operating magnetic drills
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices
