Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a motivated MIG Welder for our client in Telford. You will perform MIG welding on metal components across fixed day and night shifts.

The role requires reliable welding skills, familiarity with standard welding techniques, and the ability to read basic measurements. Casual dress and ample on-site parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Production MIG welding in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and regional standards.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and basic math for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong and clean welds that meet quality standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Inspect finished welds and assemblies for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production MIG Welder to join our clients manufacturing team based in Telford TF3.

Fixed shifts

• Days 0600 – 1800 (£13.50ph)
• Nights 1800 – 0600 (£14.50ph)

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong and clean welds that meet quality standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Inspect finished welds and assemblies for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications

Experience

• Proven experience with Production MIG welding in a manufacturing setting
