Job Description

We're currently recruiting for a number of MIG Welders to join a world-leading manufacturer, at their top class headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire (ST14 5JP). These roles are long term ongoing opportunities.

* Weld tests available immediately (this may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld)

* You must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test prior to any offer of employment

* Having your own transport is essential due to location of work

MIG Welder key job details:

* Day & Night shifts available

* Rates: Days £16.67ph, Nights £23.09ph

* Overtime available, and paid at 1.5x (£25.01ph) after 39hrs, and 2x (£33.34ph) on Sundays.

MIG Welder job duties:

* MIG Welding of mild steel to assist with the production of construction products

* Interpret and work from engineering / welding drawings

* Jig work

* Keeping your work area clean

* Complying with health and safety regulations

MIG Welder person specification:

* You must be a competent MIG Welder with previous working experience in engineering environments

* Must be able to work from engineering drawings

* Have effective English verbal, and written skills

* Own transport is essential

* Flexibility and willing to work shifts if the role should require (relevant shift allowances will apply should this occur).
