Job description

We are currently on the lookout for skilled MIG/MAG Welders to join a forward-thinking manufacturing facility on a permanent basis supporting a long-term defence industry contract. Based in a modern site in Stockport, the position involves fabricating components from engineering drawings and achieving high welding standards.

Who this job would suit

This role would suit an experienced welder with a strong understanding of MIG/MAG welding processes. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working from technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG/MAG welding.
  • Follow engineering drawings and work instructions to produce compliant welded components.
  • Operate safely, identifying potential hazards and reporting equipment faults when necessary.
