MIG Welder

Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire

Salary: GBP34,320 to GBP37,500 a year

Full-time Permanent

Day shift: Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client's engineering team in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding and fabrication of heavy structural steel, with the ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication on mild and stainless steel
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate welds
• Operate fabrication tools and machinery efficiently
• Support additional production tasks such as machining or quality checks
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in MIG Welding (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential)
• Strong Fabrication skills (advantageous)
• CSCS card (advantageous)
• High attention to detail and quality
