Job summary

Bec Recruitment is seeking skilled structural steel MIG welders for days in the UK. The role pays £18.12 per hour and operates on a four-day week. A drug and alcohol test will be carried out on your first day, and you must have the right to work in the UK.

Heavy plate experience and structural steel welding are preferred. Flux core welding is an advantage; NVQ level 3 or apprentice training is preferred. You will weld fillets and butt joints to a high standard, with welds subject to NDT checks,

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy plate welding.

• MIG welding to a high standard with fillet and multi-run fillets.

Skilled structural steel Migwelders required.

I am recruiting for welders for days.

My client is one of the biggest producers of structural steel throughout Europe.

They have many facilities in the UK, India and Singapore.

My client deals in many sectors including Nuclear, Energy, oil & gas, Infrastructure and retail.

After securing more work and having a very healthy order book they now wish to employ more structural steel welders.

Heavy plate experience and structural steel welding preferred.

The Mig welder -Requirements----

Flux core welding an advantage

Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 preferred.

The Mig welder-Excellent ability with MIG welding process.

The Mig welder-Must be able to put down fillet and multi run fillets.

The MIg welder- have the ability to weld butts to a high standard.

Welds will be subject to NDT.

Work on your own or part of a team.

Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.

Wear the appropriate PPE at all times.

Punctual.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours Mon to Thursday 7am to 4.45pm

Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all overtime days.
