The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to fabricate and assemble components using various welding techniques. This role requires proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding processes, as well as experience with sheet metal work. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welds while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
• Perform stick welding as required for specific projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

Qualifications
