Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for MIG & TIG Welders for a permanent position with our client in Gainsborough. Immediate start, subject to interview and weld test. Rate of pay £16.35 per hour.

Working Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 1am and Thursdays 2:30pm to 12:30am. You will weld stainless steel and mild steel, read engineering drawings, and ensure quality workmanship to engineering drawings and company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Produce high-quality welds to the required standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Work effectively as part of a busy production team.
