Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting for MIG FCAW Welders for workshop-based roles near Walsall. Duties include flux core welding on carbon steel, duplex stainless steel and inconel, welding 6mm to 12mm plates and butt/fillet welds with high workmanship standards.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years Flux core MIG welding experience, ability to weld different materials, pass coded weld tests (x-ray, DPI, MPI) and a good grasp of Health & Safety in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Flux core MIG welding experience.
• Able to weld carbon, stainless and inconel.
• Able to weld from 6mm to 12mm.
• Weld to a coded standard and pass weld tests (x-ray, DPI and MPI).
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a factory/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld Flux Core MIG on carbon steel, stainless and inconel plates.
• Weld 6mm to 12mm thickness as required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety in a workshop environment.

Hours: Basic 7.54am-4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 7.54am-1.30pm Fridays (+ Overtime during week and weekends)

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for MIG FCAW Welders on behalf of our client, a market leader in the power generation, petrochemical, water and offshore sectors, for workshop based roles near Walsall. Duties will include:

• Flux core welding mostly plate
• Welding 6mm to 12mm Welds on 8mm to 50mm plate
• Welding on Carbon steel, Duplex stainless steel and Inconel
• High standards of work and a good eye for detail
• Welding Butt welds and fillet

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years Flux core MIG welding experience
• Ability to weld carbon, stainless and inconel
• Able to weld from 6mm to 12mm
• Weld to a coded standard and ability to pass a weld test, which be subject to x-ray, DPI and MPI.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety in a factory/manufacturing environment
