We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced midwife to join our Maternity Assessment Unit (MAU) team.
We are seeking a midwife who enjoys providing care for women accessing MAU for pregnancy-related concerns and can assess, plan, and implement care in a timely manner, working within a multidisciplinary team, to provide women with high-quality care 24 hours a day. It is a fast-paced unit with a high turnover, utilizing BSOTs (Birmingham Symptom-specific Obstetric Triage system).
Our MAU offers varied experiences, including the use of Dawes Redman, research with our prematurity team, hypertension clinic, ECVs, and scanning. Midwives keen to provide excellent care in collaboration with a wide range of healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, fetal medicine, and obstetric medicine teams, will do well in our environment.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 midwife eager to develop their clinical expertise in our Maternity Assessment Unit.
