We currently have opportunities for you to join our maternity team, providing high quality midwifery care to women across our services.
You will work within our well established multi-disciplinary teams delivering evidence based care ensuring positive safe outcomes for all.
Band 6 applicants will have the possibility of a core midwifery post on the Antenatal/Postnatal ward or Community midwifery.
Main duties of the jobTo assess and support the physical and psychological wellbeing of pregnant, labouring and postpartum women and their families.
This will include risk assessments, care pathway planning including both high and low risk scenarios within the parameters of your role as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Depending on your experience you will participate in teaching, supervising, supporting and assessing junior staff and students.
If you are a band 5 midwife, you will join the Trust Preceptorship pathway to consolidate your knowledge and skills in order to achieve your band 6.
You will contribute to ensuring our culture of high quality care is delivered within a psychologically safe team environment and engage in the ever changing and progression of learning within maternity care.
