REGISTERED MIDWIVES, BAND 5/6 (Depending on Experience)

Band 5 - £33,247 - £41,424 (pro rata)

Band 6 - £41,608 - £50,702 (pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5/6 Midwife to work in NHS Tayside, within the Perth Community Midwifery Unit, Perth Royal Infirmary.

In Tayside we put women at the centre of our maternity service and aim to provide the best care for women and their families. We pride ourselves on the standard of care we provide to our women and their families and ensure high quality and safe care through strong leadership and a team approach.

We are looking for a Band 5/6 Midwife who is passionate about promoting normality in all birth settings and who wants to develop their midwifery expertise, to join our friendly, award winning, supportive and motivated midwifery team.

Our Maternity Services are on an exciting journey to implement full caseloading midwifery teams who will care for women at home, in our stand-alone midwifery unit and our consultant led unit. You will be part of the team working collaboratively to promote the delivery of evidence-based women centered care. We are passionate about delivering safe, high-quality services to our women and their families. If you can demonstrate these qualities, we would welcome your application.

We provide a comprehensive in-house multidisciplinary training programme to keep staff updated and opportunities for further study are available.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Post 1 – 24.42 hours per week. Fixed Term/Secondment to 1.7.26

Post 2 – 22.2 hours per week. Fixed Term/Secondment to 1.4.26
