Our Maternity Services in Cornwall have recently received national recognition, which we are immensely proud of. As a result, we have strong executive support to advance our Maternity Transformation strategy. We are seeking enthusiastic midwives to join our team and support our vision.

All team members participate in an innovative multidisciplinary training week, and we highly value staff development. All interviews will be conducted face-to-face.
The post-holder will work within the Midwifery Team, providing high-quality, individualized care during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods in a hospital setting. They will also assume delegated responsibilities for the department in the absence of the Ward Manager.
Our program for newly qualified midwives (NQMs) is highly regarded and attracts excellent candidates. Support is provided by our Learning and Development Team, which includes a Practice Development Midwife, Clinical Skills Facilitators, a Fetal Monitoring Specialist Midwife, and a Professional Midwifery Advocate. Additionally, all NQMs are assigned a Preceptor and a Team Leader. A tailored Midwifery update week emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach and fosters our strong learning culture. Regular multidisciplinary simulation exercises are integrated into daily practice. We are committed to your ongoing development, offering various opportunities aligned with our "Being Brilliant" philosophy.

Salary: £29,970 to £44,962 per year, pro-rata, depending on experience.
