A leading healthcare provider in Oxfordshire is looking for passionate midwives dedicated to quality care. You will provide evidence-based care within various settings, including home births and hospital units. Ideal candidates are registered midwives with at least 12 months of experience. Flexibility in shifts is required, and the role offers a salary of £38,682 to £46,580 annually.
We are looking to recruit innovative midwives who are passionate about providing quality care to birthing families and are dedicated to providing evidence-based care. Here in Oxfordshire, we offer women and healthcare professionals a unique set up of our Maternity Services where around 7500 babies are born annually.
We have 4 stand-alone Midwifery Led Birth units within the county based at Banbury, Chipping Norton, Wantage, and Wallingford as well as offering home births to all areas. There is also an integrated birth unit where around 10% of birthing people choose to go in labour. As a large Tertiary hospital, the John Radcliffe offers a large Delivery Suite with an en-suite birthing pool room, 3 Maternity theatres, and a specific Maternity Recovery Ward.
We currently have rotational roles available for Band 6 Midwives within the John Radcliffe hospital setting.

Here in Oxfordshire, we offer a unique set up of our Maternity Services with around 7500 babies born annually. As a tertiary hospital, the John Radcliffe is composed of a Delivery Suite with 3 Maternity Theatres and a specific Maternity Recovery Ward.
We work closely with specialist services such as the Fetal and Maternal Medicine Unit, Breech Team, and Maternity Bereavement Teams. Midwives employed within the service have the opportunity to rotate to all our units/departments providing care to both low and high-risk women.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
The salary for this role is £38,682 to £46,580 a year per annum pro rata. The contract is permanent.
