Job description
Overview

We are hiring a Midweight Videographer to work within our in-house studio team. As a Midweight Videographer, you will join an established team of video content creators and work alongside experienced producers, photographers, creatives, stylists and marketing professionals. Footasylum's in-house team is responsible for creating all marketing content. Day-to-day, you'll be capturing video content for a range of platforms including Social (Instagram & Facebook) & E-commerce (Footasylum website and Footasylum stores). The role also offers opportunities to work across briefs for internal, seasonal and reactive campaigns and branded campaigns for leading brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Converse, Jordan and more. We are the only UK retailer with the ability to create and produce content for global mega-brands in-house. The role is based at our purpose-built content creation studio at The Sharp Project in Manchester, reporting directly to the Lead Videographer.

The Team

The Studio Team is part of the Marketing Department. We are based at The Sharp Project in Manchester but are in constant communication with Head Office and the wider Marketing Team. We work closely with the Creative team on campaigns for Footasylum's Own Brands as well as brands such as Nike and adidas. The Studio is dynamic and exciting, with eComm running daily and teams working on social and creative photoshoots. We strive to create amazing content, grow our skills, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

About You

You'll need to be determined, visually educated and culturally knowledgeable within the video profession. You want work that gets talked about at audience and industry level. You should have a bar that is set at the top of the industry and be unfazed by a busy studio environment.

Responsibilities
  • Keen and a willingness to learn and progress through the video team.
  • Basic knowledge of editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Basic knowledge of cameras (Arri Alexa, RED, Blackmagic & Sony).
  • Good awareness of the social, digital and content landscape.
  • Pro-active approach to work.
  • Good people skills and communication.
Why Footasylum?

We are a leading omni-channel retailer across the UK and a great place to work. We value your development and provide opportunities for progression and training to grow your personal and professional skills. We aim to create a fun environment where your success is paramount, and you have the tools, support and platform to achieve your goals.

Diversity

We value diversity to ensure a range of perspectives when building services for customers and the wider business. Diversity also means building happy teams full of people who want to learn and be inspired by each other and our different backgrounds.

Recruitment Process

We review applications on an individual basis. If we feel you would be a good fit, we'll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role and to see if we're a good fit. We value open and honest conversations and collaborative discussions in an informal environment. Please note, this is not a remote role and attendance at Studio in Manchester is expected in a hybrid way.
