Job summary

Candidate Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Midweight Designer to join our growing marketing team. You will shape this new role, owning creative output across social, content, events and brochures with a strong emphasis on video editing and photography.

You’ll ensure brand consistency while delivering impactful design for catalogues, datasheets, sales decks and exhibition graphics, balancing typography, layout and visuals to engage our B2B audience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing social, content, video and product-focused design work.
• Advanced skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Create assets for social media, content, events and brochures
• Edit short-form video content for campaigns, product launches and social
• Retouch and edit photography, including product and in-situ imagery
• Design and refine product communications including brochures, catalogues, datasheets and manuals with strong typography and layout
• Take briefs and develop three initial ideas, then refine the chosen concept
• Present and explain your creative thinking with clear reasoning while accepting feedback
• Develop and maintain presentation templates and pitch decks for sales and internal use
• Adapt and repurpose creative across multiple channels, ensuring consistency
• Prepare print-ready artwork, liaising with suppliers and checking proofs
• Maintain and organise design assets and act as brand guardian across output
