Job summary

Major Players is partnering with a fast-growing exhibition and brand experience agency to recruit a Midweight Designer. You will create exhibitions, events, activations and experiential environments for high-profile clients in central London.

This newly created role sits within a small, collaborative creative team where you can lead smaller projects while collaborating with senior creatives on larger briefs and shape the role around your strengths.

Qualifications

• Strong 3D design skills with ability to create production-ready visuals.
• Portfolio demonstrating range across exhibitions, experiential, interiors or events.
• Ability to produce concept through to production-ready design and files.
• Proficiency with Illustrator and Photoshop in Adobe Creative Suite.
• After Effects or motion design experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 3D concepts, visuals and renders for exhibitions, events and experiential environments.
• Take ownership of smaller projects, working independently with support from the Creative Director
• Collaborate with senior creatives on larger briefs and integrate across teams.
• Produce technical drawings, simple construction packs and build-ready documentation.
• Create presentation decks, mood boards and supporting visuals for pitches and client meetings.
• Apply holistic design thinking across spaces, materials and 2D design.

Midweight Exhibition Designer

Major Players is partnering with a fast-growing exhibition and brand experience agency to recruit a Midweight Designer. Working across a mix of consumer and B2B brands, you will create exhibitions, events, activations and experiential environments for high-profile clients.

This is newly created headcount within a small, collaborative creative team. You will have the autonomy to lead smaller projects while working alongside senior creatives on larger briefs. It's an opportunity to help shape the role around your strengths and grow with an ambitious agency expanding further into consumer and experiential work.

Job Summary

Are you a multidisciplinary designer who wants to create memorable environments and brand experiences rather than repetitive exhibition stands?

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 3D concepts, visuals and renders for exhibitions, events and experiential environments
• Take ownership of smaller projects, working independently with support from the Creative Director
• Collaborate with senior creatives and the wider team on larger, integrated briefs
• Produce technical drawings, simple construction packs and build-ready documentation
• Create presentation decks, mood boards and supporting visuals for pitches, tenders and client meetings
• Apply holistic design thinking across spaces, experiences, materials and supporting 2D design

Skills & Experience

• Midweight-level design experience with clear progression beyond a junior role
• A portfolio demonstrating range across exhibitions, experiential, interiors, consumer activations or events
• Strong 3D design skills alongside confidence producing 2D assets and technical drawings
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience developing projects from initial concept through to production-ready design
• After Effects or motion design experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Further salary flexibility may be available for an exceptional candidate
