As the Midweight Creative Designer - Sports, you will shape and drive the creative vision and storytelling for all Sports segments. You will support campaigns, collaborations, and activations that enhance brand positioning and engage consumers, requiring a deep understanding of Sports, retail, marketing, and advertising trends, especially in Football, Running, Fitness, Tennis, and lifestyle sectors. Knowledge of ‘Platform First’ brand advertising in the digital age is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Brand Development
- Define and execute creative direction for Sports categories, aligning with brand vision and business goals.
- Create innovative campaigns through storytelling and graphic design to enhance desirability and engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, including digital, retail, partnerships, and activations.
- Support end-to-end campaign development from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns and tools.
- Create compelling content for digital platforms, visual merchandising, and in-store experiences.
- Coordinate with external resources for photographic and AV campaign execution.
Market Insight
- Stay ahead of trends and competitor activities in Sports.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Use data and insights to refine strategies.
- Explore emerging digital technologies like AI to future-proof the creative studio.
- Collaborate with creatives, photographers, videographers, stylists, and stakeholders.
- Attend shoots and productions, supporting creative direction across all facets.
- Build industry relationships, manage budgets, and ensure brand guardianship.
Design & Art Direction
- Define design and art direction for all sports categories.
- Create mockups and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote.
- Review and guide team work to develop the creative vision.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a senior or midweight creative role within sports, fashion retail, marketing, or advertising.
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling, digital marketing, and experiential activations.
- Expertise in creative direction, campaign development, and visual identity.
- Graphic design proficiency.
- Extensive network within luxury, sports, and fashion industries (highly desirable).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking and campaign ideation skills based on consumer insights.
- Ability to generate ‘Big Ideas’ and fashion/luxury art direction.
