The Role

Reporting to the Senior Editorial Manager, as part of the Editorial arm of the Creative team, you will be responsible for writing engaging, on-brand copy for global marketing materials across digital and print platforms. This includes emails, social media, editorial stories, film, product copy, website content, brochures, press releases, event invitations, point of sale, and packaging assets. You will support the Senior Manager in creating brand-building, creative campaign copy, ensuring clear messaging hierarchy and consistency. Additionally, you will proofread copy from internal stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure adherence to house style. You will manage the Junior Copywriter, providing proofreading support and developing their skills. The role is within the Editorial team, part of the wider Creative team.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the Senior Editor to produce headlines and supporting copy for in-store POS, ensuring alignment with the commercial brief and reflecting the luxury brand positioning.
  • Create persuasive, on-brand copy for digital and print marketing materials, adhering to tone of voice and guidelines.
  • Proofread and review copy from internal and external sources, providing clear feedback on amendments.
  • Maintain and update copy guidelines in collaboration with the Editor to ensure relevance, accuracy, and audience appeal.

What You Will Need

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a degree in English Literature, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within luxury retail, commerce, or agency, preferably in beauty/fragrance sectors, with a strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, proactive, with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Strong time management and workload prioritization abilities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate impactful, original content.
  • Experience with content management systems, SEO, conversion-driven communications, and familiarity with ChatGPT prompts and A/B testing for marketing effectiveness.
  • A passion for fragrance, skincare, and beauty, with awareness of market trends, industry innovations, and product launches, contributing ideas and perspectives to the teams.
