About Us: Designwerk is a proudly independent creative agency based in London. We specialise in brand developmentand storytelling for some of the world's most iconic brands. With a strong focus on the sports and entertainment industries, we are passionate about challenging the status quo and delivering creative excellence.

About The Role: We are looking for a talented Midweight Designer to join our growing creative team. You’ll work closely with senior designers and creative leads across a wide range of branding and campaign projects — from developing identity systems to designing key visuals for both print and digital channels.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering creative work across multiple formats. You’ll need to be able to respond to creative briefs with clarity and creativity, contribute ideas, and take ownership of project delivery with a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to creative briefs with strong, idea-led design solutions that demonstrate brand understanding and attention to detail.
  • Develop and apply identity systems across a broad range of assets — from social and campaign materials to large-format and print-based deliverables.
  • Translate creative direction into well-executed design outputs that work across web, digital display, print, and out-of-home.
  • Confidently roll out brand guidelines and visual systems with consistency and precision.
  • Prepare artwork for both digital and print production — understanding resolution, colour modes, scale, output formats, and technical setup.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Project Managers, Senior Designers and other team members to ensure creative work is delivered on time and on brief.
  • Respond to feedback efficiently and iterate design work while maintaining high visual standards and clarity of thinking.

About You:

  • 3–5 years of experience in brand design or creative agency setting.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates:
  • Brand identity development
  • Concept generation and narrative design thinking
  • Application of branding across a wide range of assets
  • Experience with large format / OOH print
  • Digital-led projects (web, display, or social)
  • Ability to follow and extend brand guidelines
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite — especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of Figma is a strong plus.
  • Confident using Google Workspace — comfortable with filing, collaborating, and communicating.
  • Confident working on both independent tasks and in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills — understanding hierarchy, layout, and composition.
  • Organised, adaptable, and proactive in managing tasks across multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working in sport or entertainment is highly desirable.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
  • Birthday day off
  • Vitality Private Medical Insurance (after 6 months)
  • Supportive and inclusive environment with opportunities for growth
  • Regular team socials and learning sessions
  • Free in-office breakfast on Tuesdays

How to Apply:

Please submit your CV, a cover letter, and a portfolio that includes examples of brand identity and campaign work within the sports and entertainment sectors to [emailprotected] .

In your cover letter, briefly explain why you’re a great fit for this role and highlight any relevant experience in branding, sports and/or entertainment.

Please note: This is a mid-level role requiring prior experience in a design or creative agency setting. It is not suitable as a first job or graduate-level position.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and work from the London office. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role at this time.
