Path Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Generator Engineer for field-based work across the Midlands. The role offers a £40,000 - £45,000 package plus overtime, a call-out rota, and progression opportunities.

You will inspect, diagnose and repair standby power equipment, travelling to various sites and delivering a professional service with high engineering standards. A UK driving licence is essential for this field-based position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on diesel-powered equipment or standby power systems.
• Recognised mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the Midlands conducting planned maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs on standby power equipment.
• Work independently delivering professional, reliable service while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Handle preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and support wider engineering projects when needed.
