Job summary

Glen Callum Associates in the Midlands is seeking an Area Sales Manager for automotive aftermarket. You will own the Midlands territory, develop existing accounts and win new business across motor factors, retailers and trade customers.

This field-based role offers autonomy, a base salary of £40,000 plus car allowance and uncapped commission with an OTE of £50,000–£60,000+. You’ll be supported by a growing business and have the opportunity to shape market presence.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales experience within the automotive aftermarket sector.
• Experience selling into motor factors or related trade channels.
• Track record of growing sales territories and accounts.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the Midlands sales territory.
• Develop existing customer accounts and increase product penetration.
• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities.
• Sell a broad portfolio of automotive aftermarket products across channels.
• Build relationships with motor factors, retailers and trade customers.
• Support promotions, merchandising initiatives and product launches.
• Negotiate favorable agreements while maintaining profitability.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Provide market feedback to support growth.
• Deliver against sales targets and objectives.
