We’re seeking a Middleweight 3D designer with excellent executional and conceptualisation skills, to join an internationally renowned design agency based in Shoreditch, East London.

As a Middleweight 3D designer, you will join an expanding 3D team working with directors, creatives, project managers and external suppliers to help deliver multiple projects simultaneously. Your inspiration, flair and creative drive of creating an idea, selling-in the concept and ensuring it gets superbly developed and executed is paramount to maintaining the highest standard of design.

Your job role and responsibilities:

  • You will report to the Head of 3D, who will support you in ensuring that all assigned tasks within a project are delivered to the highest standard.
  • You will be working on multiple projects concurrently at any given time and will manage your own timelines effectively and meet deadlines.
  • You will be involved within the journey of projects from concept to completion, demonstrating your ability to balance working as part of a team and on your own to achieve the best results and creative vision.
  • You will liaise with the internal team and also external suppliers to hit budget allowances.
  • You will demonstrate the flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and understand the styles of a range of brands.

Your key skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills, from conceptualising a brief from issue, all the way through to completion and delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise and articulate your designs to fellow team members, to our external suppliers and to our clients to deliver projects collaboratively as part of a team.
  • You’re great working as part of a team, but above all, your attitude is positive combined with a willingness to take action and achieve results.
  • You’re the kind of person that continuously challenges yourself to raise your work and skillset to the next level.
  • You have a strong eye for detail, with an excellent knowledge of technical drawing layouts.
  • A strong record of analysing budgets throughout the duration of the project process that meets the budget allowance set.
  • Strong knowledge of Vectorworks, SketchUp with Enscape and SketchUp Layout.
  • You must be able to show that you’re well-informed in all areas of design and fully engaged in the creation, application and delivery of architectural design.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest design / industry trends and how to make them appropriate for our client base.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of the Google Suite platform (Specifically; GDoc, GSlides, GSheets).

This is a full-time role with a 6-month probation period.
