Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a welcoming Middle school in Evesham. This is a full-time role supporting children aged 10 to 13 in a mainstream school.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs.
2. Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate changing behaviours.
3. Maintain a calm and patient approach, capable of handling a variety of additional needs.
4. Support the inclusion and development of students with SEND.

Requirements:

1. Experience with severe SEN needs is essential.
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (full-time).
3. Pay: Starting from £89 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience and qualifications.
4. Location: Evesham.
5. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
