Purpose of the position: The goal of a QA engineer is to ensure consistently high-quality control of the company’s own software products by systematically testing:

• software functioning in accordance with business requirements in all typical and atypical cases — both checking new features and regression control;
• adaptivity and behavior of the UI on a wide range of devices, operating systems, browsers, and window sizes;
• speed, load testing, SLA compliance,
• security of the software.

Responsibilities

• Test software to ensure it functions in accordance with business requirements in typical and atypical cases, including new features and regression testing.
• Evaluate UI adaptivity and behavior across devices, operating systems, browsers, and window sizes.
• Perform performance and load testing; ensure SLA compliance.
• Assess and verify security of the software.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software testing experience
• Experience testing web applications
• Practical understanding of the SDLC and STLC processes
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, etc.)
• Experience in analyzing requirements, performing test design, executing test cases, and reporting test results
• Functional and non-functional testing skills.
• Ability to clearly describe a problem, feature, or product, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to efficiently organize information: support requests, bug reports, QA artifacts, etc.
